How do I know if my asthma is under control?

You can take a test to see if your asthma is well controlled. Take this test and bring the results to your next doctor’s appointment. The test will give you a number. If your score is:

  • 0 to 14 your asthma is not under control. Talk to your doctor right away about your score.
  • 15 to 19 your asthma controlled. Talk to your doctor about your score.
  • 20 to 25 your asthma is well controlled. Keep doing what you are doing to control your asthma.
